BANK GUARANTEES
There are mainly three types of Bank Guarantees available for sale, purchase and lease basis from our well known and reputed providers and sellers.
1. FRESH CUT BANK GUARANTEE (FC BG)
This is a fresh cut issued bank guarantee based on buyer’s exact requirements generally valid for one year and one day. It is mostly issued by one of the top 25 world prime banks. It is cash backed bank guarantee and will be cashed on it’s maturity in favor of it’s beneficiary.
The value of such BG is as per buyer’s need and may be of minimum EORU/USD 10 Million to maximum 10 Billion and more all depends on buyer’s requirements.
The price varies from 70% to 85% of face value of BG plus a consultant’s fees of 1 to 2% of face value. It all depends on the amount, issuing bank, availability of funds and buyer’s requirements.
2. SS BG (SLIGHTLY SEASONED BANK GUARANTEE)
This bank guarantee is an already issued in favor of an individual or organization for a particular value showing it’s date of issue, date of maturity and face value. This is available for sale and it’s price varies from 65% to 85% depending on many factors mainly the remaining period of it’s validity.
3. FC BANK GUARANTEE ON LEASE BASIS
This bank guarantee is issued freshly as per the requirements of clients who need such BG generally for credit enhancement and it is valid for one year and one day.
Client has to pay a lease fee varying from 15% to 20% of face value per year plus a consultant’s fees of 1 to 2% of face value of BG. Such BG has to be returned 15 days before it’s maturity period to the issuing bank but it’s validity period can also be extended for another year after paying the lease fee and consultant’s fees.
